SSA#32 is committed to the economic growth and development of the 79th Street Business Corridor and is actively working to make sure that the best and brightest Chicago business has to offer can be found right in this community.
THE FACADE ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM
The Façade Enhancement Program is designed to encourage investment and development within SSA#32 business district by offering free architectural services and grants up to $3,000 to business owners located within the boundaries of SSA#32. SSA#32 general boundaries include both sides of 79th Street between the Dan Ryan on the east and Marshfield on the west. The grants may be used for exterior improvements such as interior design and/or signage,awnings,doors, exterior lighting,and buildingmasonry.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Business must be located within the SSA #32 or SS A#69 Business District (Between 79th Street and 95th Street and Ashland Ave.)
- Business owner must download and complete Facade Enhancement Application found on the SSA #32 facade enhancement site
Important Note: Grants must be used to improve the Facade of building
- Facade improvements include signage, awnings, doors, exteriorlightning, building masonry, and windows
- Facade projects must meet city and SSA#32 building improvement requirements (see Chicago signage guidelines at www.cityofchicago.org)
