Peoples Gas joined in the fun, to celebrate the 11th year of giving back to senior residents in the community, the Greater Auburn-Gresham Development Corporation (GADC) hosted it's fun and free Breakfast-n-Blues event, at the Thurgood Marshall Chicago Public Library. Seniors always look forward the session that typically kicks off for seniors to celebrate the beginning of the fall season.
On Wednesday, February 18th and Thursday, February 19th, from 9am to 5pm all seven Oak Street Health community centers in Portage Park, Edgewater, Bronzeville, Ashburn, Avalon Park, Berwyn and Blue Island will be open to all seniors as warming centers offering free coffee, hot chocolate, tea and entertainment for seniors.
