Auburn Gresham boosted by annual festival

he Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side is known for a lot of things and one of them is the annual 79th Street Renaissance Festival. Now in its 14th year, the free, outdoor festival will run Sept. 7 and 8 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the corner of 79th Street and Racine Avenue to Loomis Avenue.
