This year, there was a Hoops event every day in at least one of LISC Chicago's partner neighborhoods from the end of June through August. They served 3,000 youth, nearly 10,000 community members and together hosted 160 Hoops events. Over the last 13 years they reached more than 30,000 kids!

Now in its 14th year, the free, outdoor festival will run Sept. 7 and 8 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the corner of 79th Street and Racine Avenue to Loomis Avenue.
