GAGDC feels this need stays great in 2021, for those struggling to have enough food to eat. We have transformed the mission of GAGDC to be of service to the community. That's why it is important to go and thank, a group of young athletes are using the Martin Luther King holiday to pack food for people in need.
We fear that the struggle for food in 2021 for our communities will be very similar to the levels of 2020. The partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository is critical to communities across the Chicagoland area.
Carlos Nelson Executive director of Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation (GAGDC) is working today. As part of the GAGDC mission, we are thankful to be able to serve, today and every other Tuesday, at our Food Stability site in Auburn Gresham to distribute food to those in need. We can do this because of committed partners and volunteers like Chicago Cubs, who give of their time and resources, assisting with packing food for distribution at the Food Depository.
