Auburn Gresham "Sounds The Alarm" With the American Red Cross Data, Reflects a Huge Success and Counting...
Published: June 13, 2018
Sometimes, the best reporting is just to repost a letter, as written. This is especially true when everyone involved was invested in a project and felt from the botton of their hearts they made an impact on the community. The gernerous thank you note, from the American Red Cross of Great Chicago is just one of the communications:
"Good morning Linda Johnson,
I hope you are doing well! I know we weren't able to touch base immediately after our Sound the Alarm event on May 19th, I know both our schedules can be busy, but I wanted to provide you with an official records of the numbers we achieved:
- 428 smoke alarms installed
- 141 households made safer
- 85 volunteers assisted
This is all thanks to the support that you and the Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation and supporting organizations provided and we are so very grateful for your support and partnership!
We have seen additional smoke alarm install request come in since May 19th, so we are excited to be able to continue fulfilling these. Let me know if your team would like to join us on any of the installs in your area!
