Community Chat: What the X is Going On?

Residents attended a community chat to find out "What the X Was Going On?", sponsored by the Greater Auburn-Gresham Development Corporation. Executive Director Carlos Nelson felt this was one of many community 'fire-side chat-style' problem solving sessions he'd host to continue to engage the community, in being accountable for the well being of Auburn Gresham, Greater Grand Crossing and it's surrounding southside communities.

Residents of the Auburn Gresham residents neighborhood were provided answers during a recent community meeting that included the Chicago Fire Department who explained that the red X's that are marked on residential and commercial properties in Auburn Gresham signal to first responders the building is not safe.
