7th Annual 79th Street Renaissance Festival and Family Jam for Peace A Big Success!

The Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation's 79th Street Renaissance Festival and The Faith Community of Saint Sabina gospel Family Jam For Peace, will combine into another memorable event this Saturday, September 8th, 10am-7pm. Take a look at last year's historical event:

This annual event brings a great neighborhood street festival to the Southside, right here on 79th Street between Racine and Loomis. At this community celebration you can get information from health, education, technology classes to non-profit partner services. This is a great opportunity to support and shop from local businesses. You will be entertained with some of the best of Chicago Southside Culture, fun with your entire family from tots (petting zoo, pony rides, games) to teens (youth DJ in the Park, dancing, games) to Adults (great food, great entertainment, dancing) and seniors (seniors DJ, free special luncheon, games, and giveaways)!

Come on out to support local businessess, corporate sponsors and celebrate the 79th street economic renaissance with us. Be sure to pass the word to your friends and family. Click on our Facebook and Twitter link below to share on your timeline. See you there!
