Chicago's Best Kept Secret

Bill Healy

Chicago’s Best Kept Secret is out. We are in the process of sharing what we here in Auburn Gresham have known for years. Auburn Gresham is a vibrant and energetic community teeming with active residents and all the amenities that you could hope for in a community. We are in the process of creating a community video that celebrates the pride, culture and spirit of Auburn Gresham and its residents.

We need your help!  We are looking for interesting stories or characters that highlight the communities past, present and future.  We have picked nine sites in the Auburn Gresham community that we will make the focal point of our video ( Auburn Park, Thurgood Marshall Library, Hamilton Park, MLK Entertainment  Center, Foster Park, Mount Hermon Baptist Church, St. Sabina Church, St. Leo’s Bell Tower and Veterans Park).  If you have photos, videos, or an interesting story surrounding these sites please contact Ericka Hall (773-488-2004) or ehall@nhschicago.org.

Residents from the community will be interviewed and possibly featured in our video presentation. Don't miss this oppurtunity to become apart of Auburn Gresham History!!
