GAGDC Neighborhood Opportunity Fund (NOF) training gives tips for completing the application

The deadline to submit the City of Chicago Neighborhood Opportunity Fund, for this current round is March 5th! Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation's Special Service Area team held training to give some key tips, to current and new business owners, working to complete applications.

CPS has recently implemented new policies and procedures to ensure the safety of students. To address any questions or concerns, CPS and Ingenuity will be co-hosting an event with Jadine Chou, Chicago Public Schools’ Chief of Safety and Security, on Monday, February 4 from 3:00 - 5:00 PM.

What a treasure to have met and spent the afternoon talking with Mr. Jack Lyle. No holes barred, he shared stories that will stay with me forever. United Way of Metro Chicago names new CEO Sean Garrett, a career-long employee of the organization, comes here from United Way of Central Carolinas.

A career-long United Way employee, he comes to Chicago from Charlotte, N.C., where he was executive director of United Way of Central Carolinas. Garrett, 36, replaces Wendy DuBoe, who became CEO in 2012.
