The BGA and the Chicago Urban League are hosting a public forum on The High Costs of Wrongful Convictions.

The discussion will by moderated by Andy Shaw, President & CEO, Better Government Association, and will feature Andrea L. Zopp, President & CEO, Chicago Urban League.
When: Tuesday, November 15th, 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

The event comes on the heels of a joint investigation by the Better Government Association and the Center on Wrongful Convictions released in June. It found that in 85 cases of wrongful conviction since 1978 in Illinois, 95% were a result of government error.
