Dr. Fagen said, "When I read the Healthy Chicago 2.0 plan I saw an opportunity to make public health issues immediately relevant for MPH students."
Students start by analyzing the Healthy Chicago 2.0 (HC 2.0) issues that were chosen for the plan, the data used to make those selections, and the viability of plan goals and objectives. They then consider how HC 2.0 strategies may be implemented by interviewing relevant stakeholders.
Jen Brown, Director of CCH's ARCC,is Community Co-Chair of the Healthy Chicago 2.0 Data and Research Action Team which has two main goals: making high-quality data accessible and equitable and coordinating and disseminating Chicago's public health research widely. Read more here.
