Our Vision
Alpha Learning Center is a private non-profit, child and family centered, early learning center serving children ages six weeks to twelve years of age.
ALC also offers a before and after school program as well as a summer enrichment program. We are dedicated to improving, enhancing and enriching the entire early learning experience.ALC believes that all children regardless of socio economic status has the right to be educated in a manner that helps to even out the educational playing fields.Education is indeed the one element that can and will improve the overall quality of life. We believe learning about self first is the cornerstone of healthy self-esteem, self-worthand value. Thus our curriculum heavily weaves in a creative and fun manner African-American history and culture to teach our children early on who they are and where they come from. We believe our children will be the first to do or perform something important, will mark the beginning of something great, and will be the most talented at something!

ORGANIC FOOD PROGRAM
Alpha Learning Center feels that caring for children not only involves a healthy balance of social, academic and cultural enrichment, it also involves the physical wellbeing of the child.
Thus our menu is 100 percent organic. Organic refers to the way agricultural products—food and fiber—are grown and processed. It is an ecological system that relies on healthy, rich soil to produce plants that resist pests and diseases. Organic farming prohibits the use of toxic and persistent chemicals in favor of innovative practices that work with nature, instead of against it, such as crop rotation, cover crop planting, beneficial insect release and composting. In the case of livestock, no antibiotics or synthetic hormones are permitted.
